Monday Morning Club

To: Club Readers

October 11, 2021

Happy Monday Morning.

" He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6)

A Monday Morning Prayer and Praise from Psalms

“Father God You are my shepherd; I have everything I need. You let me rest in green meadows; You lead me beside peaceful streams. You renew my strength. You guide me along right paths, bringing honor to your name. Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You welcome me as a guest, anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in Your house forever.” (Based on Psalms 23:1-6)

Janet and I spent this weekend in Wake Forest, North Carolina. We were with Jesse and Rosemary Pimentel, their beautiful family, and "Life Church".

Fifteen years ago, Jesse and Rosemary took a step of faith and moved to Wake Forest to plant a new church. Praise Chapel in Rancho Cucamonga, California had the privilege of sending them.

They had a good business going in Southern California. They owned a beautiful home. They served in the church. All their family lived near them. Yet, they felt the call of God to pastor and plant a church. Now in Wake Forest, "Life Church" is a thriving Christian community. Sunday morning the church shared a video of people testifying of what God has done in their lives. Miracle after miracle of lives that God has changed.

The planting and pastoring of "Life Church" has been a family project. From the very beginning their three girls have been right there serving.

"Life Church" is shinning example of the vision of Praise Chapel, Win, Build and Send. Janet and I congratulate Jessie, Rosemary, Krista, Kelsey and Brittney Pimentel.

"What did the Businessman see?"

A day or two before my dad died at 80 years old, a businessman wrote a letter to him titled, “The Richest Man I Know.” In the letter he said that he would trade all his wealth for the wealth that he saw in my dad’s life.

Today I have a few thoughts on, "What did the businessman see?"

Here goes another Jewel from my files of Dr. John Holland.

"Everyone’s Life Should be Celebrated"

By

Dr. John Holland

Janet and I always referred to Dr. Holland as, "Dr Affirmation." He always affirmed us. We always felt that we were better people after spending time with John and Doris Holland. Janet would say, "After being with Dr. Holland, I always want to be a Barnabas."

We are continuing to share with you his stories, personal notes and emails to us. Each week as I go through editing this material picking out something for you, I am the one blessed. I hope you get to know the Holy Spirit more as I share these memories with you.

Today's message by Dr. Holland, "Everyone's life Should be Celebrated."

The story of PC Missionary/Evangelist Trino Jimenez and how he forgave the murder of his brother. An amazing testimony of grace, love, mercy and the heart of a Man of God.

Dr. Michael Brown had a very challenging blog this week, I thought would interest you.
