The Shell oil company gave 82,000 employees each an 8% bonus this week. WHY? They are experiencing record profits.
Food Companies raised their collective wealth by 42 % the past two years, while global food prices raised 33.6 percent 2021, andare expected to rise by another 23 percent in 2022. That is why I say that we are not experiencing Inflation. We are battling, ‘Greedflation.’
Ex: John F. Kennedy running for president. Asked: What do you think about the Great Depression., He said, as a kid, I never knew there was a depression. We had more money during the depression. I only knew something was up when my Dad hired some extra Gardners to give them food. I only learned about the great depression when we studied about it university. (He Lived in a different world experience than 99% of the population.)
There is no SHORTAGE! There is an: ABUNDANCE.
FEAR: LIMITED, SHORTAGE, NOT ENOUGH
FAITH: ABUNDANCE, PLENTY.
That way that you SEE the situation today. Who you listen to. What you watch and read. What you feed your mind will determine your SITUATION. If you you are not careful you will begin to think there is shortages of everything.
"There aren't enough resources for everybody."
"All the good experiences are gone.”
"All the good jobs are already taken.”
"All the good houses are already bought."
"All the good husbands are married."
A scarcity mentality leads to anxiety and to poverty.
2 Timothy 1:7 NLT, “God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
Fear is your worst ENEMY!
You do have a choice in choosing what you're going to focus on.
What you're going to emphasize,
What you SPEAK OVER YOUR LIFE AND FAMILY.
Matthew 6:25, “I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:30, If God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
1. The Principle of Double Portion Increase
1 Chronicles 29:12, “Both riches and honor come from You.”
Ex Job: One day loses all
Job remained faithful, did not sin with his mouth.
Job 1:21 NLT, He said, “The Lord gave me everything I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!”
Jobe was rewarded by God with a double portion of all that he had before.
Job 42:10, The Lord gave him twice as much as before!
The principle of the double portion has a lot to do with what we say with our mouths in the day that we are holding no resources in our hands. Faithful to worship God in spite of that, God will grant us a double portion.
Ex: Elisha followed and served Elijah faithfully for many years.
Receiving only a small portion of the blessing, and remaining in the background.
He was believing for a double portion of Elijah’s blessing and anointing
2. The Principle that Increase is the reward for labor.
God designed things to GROW!
Bottom line: God gives the increase.
Ex: Talents
Matthew 25:14, “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. 15 To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money.
What was the problem of the man 1?
Matthew 25:25, I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’
What if I fail?
Matthew 25:29 ESV, For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
That is what is happening today. if your income does not increase then what you have is being taken from you and given to Shell, to amazon and other greedy companies.
Some will say, "Well you just need to budget."
There is no doubt that most people do need to set a budget. The problem most budgets are like diets it's all about what you can't do.
God's promises are about GROWTH, FRUITFULNESS, INCREASE, and ABUNDANCE.
Matthew 5:41, “And whosoever shall compel you to go a mile, go with him two.
Double the work. I'm not saying go work 18 hours day!. We do need to know that the biblical and LIFE Principe is that "Increase is the REWARD for LABOR."
Labor to have a healthy marriage.
Labor to invest in your children,.
Labor to have more real friends. Not kind clck on FB or TickTok.
Labor to come to church, set-up, serve.
Every increase worthwhile requires Labor.
Increase is the reward for labor.
Labor to increase in income.
Labor to develop myself
Proverbs 21:25, "The desire of the lazy man kills him, For his hands refuse to labor."
Proverbs 24:33, "A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest."
Ecclesiastes 7:26, "Because of laziness the building decays, And through idleness of hands the house leaks."
1 Corinthians 15:10 NLT, "But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace."
3. Principle of Redeeming the Time
Ephesians 5:16 NKJV, "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."
Ephesians 5:16 NLT, "Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days."
‘Greedflation’ is eating away at your life every moment!
Moment that you WASTE! . . be sure ‘Greedflation is working to take advantage of it.
Technology was to SAVE time but it is STEALING Time!
ACTIVITY: Know what activities you do.
TIME: Compare the time you into the activities.
Time + Right Activity = Productivity.
Ecclesiastes 9:10, Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might.
4. The Principle of Abundance.
John 10:10, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
God told Noah, “As for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth And multiply in it.” (Genesis 9:7)
Abundance is so that you are lifted above the level of your own needs and are able to reach out to the needs of others.
The SIn of the Rich Man Barns,
And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
5. The Principle of: Kingdom Return
Proverbs 1:9-10, Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce; 10 then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.
Proverbs 11:24 NLT, “It is possible to give freely and become more wealthy, but those who are stingy will lose everything.”
Truth: Faithful you are in the stewardship of what God has given you, no matter how small, will determine how faithful you will be with any increase.
One of the difficulties of Kingdom Finances is that God does not always pay on Friday. His payday isn’t dependent on whether you had investment capital! Kingdom investment comes back in 30%, 60% and 100% return.
Malachi 3:10-11 NKJV, Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;
Proverbs 8:12 KJV, “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.”
